你聽說過量子點嗎？量子點的發現與發展，榮獲 2023 年諾貝爾化學獎。
如今，量子點已廣泛應用於電視螢幕和 LED 燈。它們的光還可以驅動化學反應，甚至為外科醫生照亮腫瘤組織。
量子點是非常微小的粒子，其尺寸是在奈米尺度上測量。為了讓你了解它有多小，量子點大約比針頭小一百萬倍。當粒子這麼小時，就會發生奇怪的事情。
例如，量子點會依據其尺寸發出不同顏色的光。較大的量子點發出較紅的光，而較小的量子點發出較藍的光。
這項發現開啟了奈米技術領域——材料的特性會依據其尺寸而變化。
這些特性，為我們發現具有非凡性能的材料，提供了新的可能性。
